What are Human Rights to you?
Human Rights to me, is being free. Being free to choose, Being free to make my own opinions, Being free to experience life to the fullest. That's what i think Human Rights are, they are merely some of what God intended for us in this life. Only difference is it took more than 100 years to be done. That tells me, someone must have missed out on their rights. Someone must have died before they even got a chance to even experience really being free. I admit that I don't really see the point in having to write it down; everyone should be civil enough to know and do everything that's written down on those papers... or paper. Why are they suddenly a huge deal? because they're signed or stamped by imortant people? I love my rights, they're what makes me, me. But If that's what it takes for people to finally be recognized and to be given the respect they deserve, I don't see the Human Rights as a leader to freedom. I see them as humanities pride and shallowness, the only thing different is that it's written down.
